Duke showed up at the 2005 Sterling Renaissance Festival as a mini-me. They were so close that I even changed my brown shirt to my usual (but old and faded) green. The details that his mother (Fran Norsworthy) put into his vest are incredibly close to the ones that Laura Bridson put into my vest. I am truly honored by this wonderful gesture and awed by the accuracy and the amount of work it must have taken, especially considering that she worked from photos! Now if only I can quell these pesky rumors about my "son" that have been cropping up lately . . . .
