The Kerrville Underground Revue back in 1985. Ky Hote has been hosting this phenomenal event (now with Owl Morrison) for about twenty years now, and it's the most concentrated dose of Kerrville Kampfire Pickin' outside of the Quiet Valley Ranch! It is usually held on the first Tuesday or Wednesday after the Kerrville Folk Festival ends at the Cactus Cafe in the Student Union building on the U of Texas campus in Austin Texas. Here goes the hard part: seated up front are Charlie Nemanick & Caroline Norulack (my housemates in Austin) and Jim Dewitt on the far right, with Lauri Gamble standing between Jim and Caroline. The Back Row: Banjo Jim Croce, Ky Hote (our host), Ike Eichenberg, Brian Cutean, Jim Hancock, Tom Pershey and someone whose name slips my mind.
