This is from King Richard's Faire north of Chicago in 1986. This was one of my first days at a renaissance festival. My costume is pieced together from what I could find or borrow, but I'm having a blast playing for Jiva, the queen of the Gypsies. In the shadows, you can see the late Malcolm Smith on the gypsy fiddle. | |
